Chicago Police are warning people to monitor out for fake Uber drivers within the metropolis.
CHICAGO (FOX 32 information) - Chicago Police are warning individuals to monitor out for fake Uber drivers within the metropolis. In line with an alert from the Chicago Police department, twice during the past month, people waiting on Uber rides were robbed.
The incidents were reported previous this month in River North and historic town. In both of these incidents, police say two guys in a black car pull up and invite the adult looking ahead to a raise into their vehicle. Then, the suspects rob them of their debit playing cards and pin quantity suggestions. One of the vital suspects is described as a black male, about 6'1" to six'3" , about 27-39 years ancient and weighing one hundred seventy-200 lbs. The different suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s or 30s, about 5;8" and weighing 180-one hundred ninety lbs.
The car reportedly concerned within the incidents is described as a black, four door Chevy Impala with a tinted rear window. Police are now warning people who use the journey-sharing carrier to be aware of their environment and to report suspicious activity immediately.
